Tonight Ra Sushi held a benefit for the Go Red For Women Movement. Red cupcakes, martinis were sold and a raffle was held to help raise funds for Go Red For Women in Kansas City. While most are aware of the devastating effects of breast cancer, many are unaware that heart disease is still the leading cause of death among women in America. The Go Red organization seeks to raise awareness among women and urges them to get checked for the risk factors which lead to the disease. Guests were encouraged to wear red to the event, and delicious free appetizers were provided by Ra, for what was an optimistic and fun evening.
