Fitz and the Tantrums brought their energetic, guitar-less rock to the Crossroads stage on Thursday night. Royal Teeth, an up-and-coming band from Louisiana, opened the show and set the stage for a hot night of great music, cold drinks, and sweaty dancing. It was a fantastic show, one I have been waiting for, and it kicked ass.

The Crossroads stage and the team at Pipeline Productions outdid themselves once again, and the downtown venue is just getting warmed up for a summer of amazing music. Death Cab for Cutie plays on Sunday, O.A.R. the next weekend, and the Avett Brothers the Thursday after next. Those bands are just a small sampling of the great music coming to this stage in the coming months, so make sure you check out the summer lineup, find your way to Grinders and enjoy some great music at KC's hottest new concert venue.
