The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society held the closing ceremonies of their Man and Woman of the Year campaign Thursday night at Harrah's Casino where candidates raised funds over the course of a couple months to compete for honors of becoming the man or woman of the year. This year the campaign raised $514,828, well above their $400K goal. Congratulations to Matt Thompson and Heather Good, the 2012 LLS Man and Woman of the Year in the Greater Kansas City area.
