The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society kicked off their Man and Woman of the Year campaign Thursday night at the Terrace on Grand where men and women throughout Kansas City are nominated and then help raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to benefit the LLS and the candidates who raise the most amount of money at the end of the campaign are honored with the Man and Woman of the Year award.
