With lead Singer Lajon Witherspoon moving from Atlanta to his new home in KC this show at the Voodoo Lounge will be his first show as Kansas Citien in his new town. Sevendust is currently working on another album which is due to release sometime in 2013. Sevendust is an American alternative metal band from Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1994 by bassist Vince Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose and guitarist John Connolly.;After their first demo, lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon and guitarist Clint Lowrey joined the group. Following a few name changes, the members settled on the name Sevendust and released their-self-titled debut album on April 15, 1997. Since formation, Sevendust has released eight studio albums, earning additional charting success and gold sales certifications. Their eighth studio album, titled Cold Day Memory, was released on April 20, 2010 and is available in stores now.
